Yesterday afternoon I took some ukeleles (sp?) to work along with some tamborines, egg shakers, tubes that make the do re mi etc sounds, and some harmonicas. I took it to the special orphanages. All of the kids loved all of the sounds and banging the tamborines and tubes on their chair or table. I was even lucky enough to have a little boy found in the jungle named Christian sing to me while he strummed the ukelele. And then Laura sang to me through a tube. The kids here make me feel so special all of the time. They are always giving me abrazos and besos. They also get the biggest smile on their faces when they see me coming and start smiling and shouting my name.
I took videos of music slash sound day but there is no way I can get the internet here to upload them.
More pictures will be coming soon! But to tide you over here is one of me standing on a teeter totter at HML. And a picture at the beach. And a picture of my group!
